She is dedicated to making counseling accessible and inclusive, particularly for Spanish-speaking communities, by leveraging her bilingual skills to provide culturally responsive care.
In her practice, Crystal is committed to creating a safe, empathetic environment where clients feel supported in exploring their emotions and achieving meaningful change. Her approach integrates evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Education
As a clinical mental health counseling intern at Thrive, Crystal is gaining valuable hands-on experience while pursuing her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling from Northern Illinois University.

Crystal has completed Gottman Level I and Gottman Level II. She will be using Gottman-based techniques to help couples build stronger and more meaningful connections.

Outside Of Work
Beyond her academic and professional work, Crystal enjoys reading, listening to music, watching movies, and spending quality time with her friends and family. These personal interests, along with her cultural background and life experiences, enhance her ability to connect with clients and provide compassionate, person-centered care.
