Charlotte

Our Occasional Therapy Dog

Meet Charlotte

You may be lucky enough to meet Charlotte during a visit to our practice. As a certified therapy dog, [he/she/they] brings a calm, comforting presence to both children and adults navigating difficult seasons of life.

Charlotte has offered support in a wide variety of settings—hospice facilities, schools, special needs programs, camps for foster children, hospitals, nursing homes, churches, care centers, wakes, funerals, and even family homes as a source of grief support. Whether visiting farmer’s markets, sporting events, or simply walking alongside someone in pain, [Dog’s Name] has an innate ability to sense emotion and offer unconditional companionship.

While she won’t be in every session, Charlotte may occasionally join us at the practice to help create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment. We believe that healing takes many forms, and sometimes, one of them has four paws and a wagging tail.

If you’re allergic to or uncomfortable around dogs, just let us know in advance—we want to make sure your experience here feels safe and supportive for you.
