Charlotte

Our Occasional Therapy Dog

Meet Charlotte

You may be lucky enough to meet Charlotte during a visit to our practice. As a certified therapy dog, she brings a calm, comforting presence to both children and adults navigating difficult seasons of life.

Charlotte has offered support in a wide variety of settings—hospice facilities, schools, special needs programs, camps for foster children, hospitals, nursing homes, churches, care centers, wakes, funerals, and even family homes as a source of grief support. Whether visiting farmer’s markets, sporting events, or simply walking alongside someone in pain, Charlotte has an innate ability to sense emotion and offer unconditional companionship.

While she won’t be in every session, Charlotte may occasionally join us at the practice to help create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment. We believe that healing takes many forms, and sometimes, one of them has four paws and a wagging tail.

If you’re allergic to or uncomfortable around dogs, just let us know in advance—we want to make sure your experience here feels safe and supportive for you.
