Roksana Zelkowski

Sometimes the problem is not that you do not know what is wrong. It is that the same conversations, reactions, or worries keep repeating despite your best efforts. Roksana works with individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents who want to understand these patterns and find a more workable way forward.

About Roksana

Roksana (she/her/hers) views concerns in the context of relationships, family history, culture, and the systems surrounding each person. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, she and her clients look at what keeps a pattern going, what purpose it may once have served, and what could help interrupt it now. Her style is thoughtful, active, and collaborative. She draws from systemic and relational therapy, Gottman Method training, and additional education in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

Therapy does not require you to arrive with the right words or a perfectly defined goal. You can begin with what feels difficult, confusing, or unfinished and build from there. Roksana offers therapy in English and Polish and welcomes clients who want a therapist who is curious, direct, and attentive to both individual needs and important relationships.

Education

Roksana holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
